Individualized secondary education
Heritage Christian School offers an individualized Junior High and High School program. With our unique, small classroom setting, curriculum can be customized to each student's needs. Junior High and High School students use a variety of Christian curricula that will prepare them for graduation and college. Curricula includes text books, dvd and online resources. Students also participate in art and physical education classes and attend field trips. The classes are overseen by a teacher, but no direct instruction is given unless the student needs specific clarification or explanation of a lesson. This setting gives students the opportunity to develop skills needed when moving into college and adulthood. They are expected to be responsible for time management and to be self-motivated in completeing tasks without direct supervision.
